We only stayed for one night while visiting friends that live in Bangor. We had a really great room with the seaview that looked like it had been recently refurbished. We didn't have dinner, but had a pretty awesome cocktail before heading out, and breakfast the next morning, which was delicious. Everyone on the team was really genuine and welcoming. I would definitely recommend, and we would definitely return next time we are in the neighborhood, even just to try the menu.

We had dinner in the main restaurant. Had the seared pork belly, amazing 10/10 - the 6oz fillet, possibly the best steak I have ever had in NI 10/10 - the rolo cheesecake, not great, didn’t come close to the other courses 3/10. All in amazing food

Didn't realise the Salty Dog had changed to The Nines so decided to nip in for lunch while passing. They had had a burst pipe the night before so half the restaurant was closed as much of the ceiling was on the floor, however it did not affect the food or service at all. I ordered the steak sandwich and chips and hubby ordered a chicken burger and fries. The portions were massive, food was delicious and our wee waitress was lovely. Will definitely go back.

Came for lunch with my wife, on Thursday 10th July. We shared the starter portions of wings, pork belly, goat’s cheese, sesame chicken and prawn pil pil, as well as a couple of cocktails. Food was genuinely excellent, as were the spicy margaritas. Service casual and professional. Really enjoyed.
